Black Eyed Peas to Introduce AI-Powered Member at Las Vegas Residency

When the Black Eyed Peas take the stage for their new Las Vegas residency in 2025, the legendary group will introduce a groundbreaking new member: an artificial intelligence presence named Vida. This innovative move marks a new chapter for the band as they integrate cutting-edge AI technology into their performances.

According to USA Today, Will.i.am elaborated that Vida is not just a hologram but will be an integral part of the band’s performances during their Planet Hollywood residency. “When we have an AI member of the Black Eyed Peas, you can engage and communicate 24/7. Our member of the group will be patched into every band member, stage hands and the audience, if they want to engage with her,” he said.

Vida will be a full-fledged member, singing alongside other band members, including performing duets.

This isn’t Will.i.am’s first venture into AI. In August 2024, he launched an AI-powered interactive, conversational media platform named RAiDiO.FYI. The app allows listeners to customize content, discover new music, personalize topics, ask questions, and interact with AI radio personas.

Earlier in April, he also funded an AI-powered music app called Udio, which generates songs from texts. The app understands concepts like genre and style and can even create vocals in different languages.

The introduction of Vida as a new member of the Black Eyed Peas is an exciting step forward in both entertainment and AI technology, sure to captivate audiences and set new standards for live performances.
